Salmon spotted in Douglaston Salmon Run

Two years ago, I started fishing for salmon and steelhead on the Salmon River in NY. Now in the middle of summer one thing and one thing only is on my mind. I’m waiting for a report that salmon are starting their migration to spawn. A few days ago, the Douglaston Salmon Run reported that staff saw some salmon going through their property. Today, they reported that someone they know also reported seeing salmon up at the hatchery. I’m still a newbie and I’m still learning and I hope this excitement never leaves me.
