September 25 Evening Fishing Report
9/25/2016Not much action going on on the river near the welcome lodge. Most of the fish were spotted down stream in the flats, meadow, and clay region. Upstream there was few hooks and lands, but as mentioned earlier a lot of Coho and King Salmon spotted hooked and landed in the Flats and worked their way to the meadow and clay region. We hope tomorrow will be just as good of a fishing day as today as the salmon continue to move up stream. Online fishing passes are selling fast! We have a few available to buy at the window tomorrow morning, but it’s first come first serve. We are moving into the time of the season were passes will sell fast for salmon fishing. Reserve your passes and guarantee your spot!
September 25: Afternoon Fishing Report
9/25/2016Before 1pm over 100 fish were spotted total in the flats, everyone got at least 5 hooks ups and landed at least 1 to 2 fish. The fish started down in the meadow and moved up to the upper clay region. King Salmon and Coho fish were both spotted in large quantities. Make sure to reserve your fishing passes online! They are selling fast!
September 25 Morning Fishing Report
9/25/2016At 10:00 Am most anglers are still on run. Early reports suggested that the upper end of the run had some early action that tapered off. The few anglers that I have talked with that have come up indicate that while the action is hot”hot and heavy” there are some fish around and people are getting occasional hook ups. The best advice for today would be “cover some water.” Clearly some sections seem to be fishing better than others at different times of the day. A few coho have been sighted as well.
