mid-day fishing report 29 Sep 16
9/29/2016reports from River Patrol and clients indicate estuary continues to be filled with salmon, which are pushing into the river in a steady trickle, which has paid off for our clients throughout the run – low water apparantly not deterring the salmon – water temperature is holding at 60 degrees
initial fishing report 29 Sep 16
9/29/2016reports from the River Patrol late last night were that all three channels of the lower part of the DSR property were “filled” with salmon – South channel somewhat less than the other two – reports so far this morning are that the lower section remains full of salmon, however movement is minimal – enough are moving to provide good action in the lower and middle sections of the river – cloudy now, with rain forecasted – water was lowered to 185 CFS (at the dam) this morning, with 248 CFS at Pineville – some believe this water level is detrimental to fish movement – others believe that the fish move when it is the biological time, regardless of water level and temperature, etc. – your call
