initial fishing report 6 September 2017
9/6/2017just received several phone calls, in quick succession, from excited clients and guides . . . apparently, there are a LOT of fish moving into and through the estuary section of the DSR, including Cohos! Comments such as “non-stop action”, “already hooked up 15 times”, “tons of fish” – this verifies what I saw down there yesterday as I was fishing that section – rained a lot yesterday – my buddy and I saw a pod of fish so big that, as they pushed up the river near the Mud Hole, there was a foot and a half bow wave in front of them – we had not sold out first thing this morning, but are as of 8:30 AM – we will have some space-available afternoon passes (starting at noon) if you want to cash in on the great fishing. Weather is overcast, 30% chance of rain, calm, CFS 335 / 494
