Fishing Report Sept 20
9/20/2017

Repeating the pattern of the past several days. Nice push down low early for about an hour and then things slowing down. In other sections of the river I have been receiving many reports from anglers that while there isn’t a great deal of fish movement ” the fish are there in good numbers.” At this hour 6:00 PM I am receiving reports from the river patrol that just down from the end of our run (below lower clay toward the estuary the water is “loaded” with nervous fish. Just need them to poke their nose in. LODGING UPDATE: We just had a last minute cancellation and the River Lodge has opened up for two night this week . The nights of the 22nd and the 23rd. If interested give us a call asap.

Initial fishing report 20 Sep 2017

At 7:30 AM River Patrol reported that the upper end has been slow with only a couple of fish moving. One of our guides reported from the upper end that they were fairly successful with a few hookups. The middle section has seen steady action this morning. In the lower part of the middle section there has been a small push of fish with clients hooking up and landing several. The lower section has not seen any fish movement. The CFS is 350/583. Temps forecasted to be high of 81 F, sunny and winds N at 5-10 mph. The most recent water temperature recorded was 62 F.
