Douglaston Salmon Run Daily Fishing Report

interim fishing report 21 Sep 17
9/21/2017

one happy, but exhausted, client came up about 9:30 to report he was going home – 40 hookups, many took him into his backing – he was an exception – other clients who had fished throughout all sections of the run reported fairly good, consistent, action “enough to keep you occupied” – River Patrol reported fish still moving into the river in small groups of 3-4, providing for good action in the lower and (to a slightly lesser degree) middle sections, but the upper section slowed down after the sun came up over the trees – River Lodge was booked for 22-23 Sep shortly after the availability posted on FB this morning

initial fishing report 21 Sep 17

sunny, cool, no wind – CFS dropped to 331 / 414, water temperature 63 degrees – River Patrol reports as of 7:30 AM are that there is a medium sized push of primarily Kings into the lower section, providing very good action there – middle section is seeing a lot of fish moving upriver, also providing good action for clients – the upper section has a “LOT of fish”, with commensurate client success – very upper portion of the run is currently inactive – we have full day and half day (afternoon only) passesavailable for sale
