Douglaston Salmon Run Daily Fishing Report

Fishing Report Sept 27 End of Day
9/27/2017

Anglers that have been coming off the run this afternoon indicate another good day of fishing on the run. No big pushes of fish, but there are plenty of fish in the run that seem to be holding up and not anxious to run upstream. The hot weather is surely the contributing factor. A consistent statement from anglers when asked “How’d you do?” is “Very well, thank you.” There seem to be sufficient fish to satisfy everybody. Not too many fish being reported in the estuary, but the cooler temperatures over the next few day could change that in a hurry. Water from the reservoir remains at 335 cfs and is 414 cfs at Pineville
