10/2/2017Today was sunny with a high of 67 degrees. Sunrise was at 7:04 am and sunset was at 6:43 pm. Water temperature is 58 degrees with 335 CFS at the dam and 419 CFS at Pineville. This afternoon fishing in the upper section of the run was reported as very good, with steady action seen in the mid section. The lower section was reported as slow.

10/2/2017River Patrol reports as of 10:30 AM: lower section – although a little quieter than first thing this morning, clients are still seeing plenty of action – Coho are coming in, and one 6 # Steelhead was brought to hand – middle section continues to be very active, with a lot of fish movement, to include Coho – upper section has been on an uptick regarding fish movement and client action since earlier this morning

10/2/2017River Patrol reported at 8:30 am there is “a lot” of fish present in the lower end and moving up to the middle section, with clients hooking up throughout. The upper section is slow with some moving up. The forecast is sunny with a high 69 F, winds light & variable, 335/419, water temp is 58 F.
