Fishing Report Oct 9 End of Day
10/9/2017The rain that we were supposed to get, we got. Probably at least an inch of heavy rain. Then the sun came out for a while and at this hour (5:32 PM) it has clouded over again, but it doesn’t look like rain. Anglers that are leaving the run this afternoon/evening all report having had a very successful day on the run. Kings, some Coho and greater numbers of Steelhead are showing up. The water flow at Pineville is still climbing and currently is 596 cfs. I would expect it to grow higher and I will be looking to see if they change the water release from the reservoir. Typically, this type of rain event at this time of yer can be a trigger for additional fish to come into the system and well just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.
