CFS 350 at the dam, 542 at Pineville
A wet, blustery day at the DSR, but the Steelhead did not apparently mind. Most of our clients fished early and left in the early afternoon, with some taking a lunch break and returning in the early afternoon. Morning better than the afternoon today. Our clients found fresh Steelhead in two primary areas; the deeper parts of both the Little Black and Glide. Center pinning a sandblasted tangerine bead, or pink egg sacks, produced fish; bottom bouncing egg sacks worked also, as the fish were holding deep. Efforts further downriver were a mix of moderate success in hooking up, to flat out no fish . . .
