Even though it was cold today (32 degrees) the bite continued to be good in the upper portion of the run. Small Stones, Nuke Eggs continued to produce. There is still significant ice on the banks but the river is clear of shelf Ice. The water level is still 350 out of the dam and 554 at Pineville. The weather predictions for the upcoming weekend is a high of 43 degrees on Saturday 0% chance of precipitation and 40 degrees on sunday with a 10% chance of precipitation.
