2/25/2015
We didn’t have any anglers today. The weather continues to be cold but not as cold as it has been the past month. 20 degrees today, but with the windy conditions it feels much colder. Shelf and Anchor Ice seem to be the theme for February. It is still very prominent on the run. There are some warmer temperatures predicted for Sunday 29 degrees and next Wednesday 33 degrees. so it is getting better but slowly. The closer we get to spring we will see some tolerable conditions. It only takes a couple degree bump to get fish active so take advantage of those days when we have a couple or more days above 40 and watch the Steelhead explode out of their winter lethargy! I recall some amazing fishing in February when the air temps were over 40 for a couple of days in the lower Fly zone! Hang in there, look forward to seeing all of our guests on the run this year.
