The Palomar knot is a new fishing knot that I started using. I started using this fishing knot because I got tired of tying knots for my friends who have a hard time seeing. One of the hardest things for those that are getting older is to thread the line through a tiny eye on the fishing hook. The advantage is that you double over the line and then the line is bigger and easier to thread through the fishing hook’s eye. Its also a much easier knot to tie in terms of just complexity.
