Hi everyone, Water is running @ 185 cfs…. Most are getting into Salmon now!!! On sunny days the larger pools in the lower half are taking on most of the fish. We are starting to see more loose eggs from the female Chinook and that means Steelhead aren’t far behind. Salmon still in the estuary and lake yet to come. For how long? If I could only wave my magic wond!! Looks like Salmon are loading steady and with low water taking there time to come in and move up. We have bin reminding everyone that there creel limit on Steelies is one 21 inch.. Steelhead will be migrating with the Salmon over the next couple weeks!! The mid half of the river Sportsman up and down, 2a up, pineville down, if your willing to walk you’ll find more fish and less people. Plenty of space to swing flies and run center pin float! We are busy getting ready for the next couple of weeks when all 6 world class fish are in the river. Browns and Domestic Rainbows are in spawn and average 8 to 12 pounds and can get up to 20 pounds that’s a trophy. Happy fishing!! srss j button
