All Seasons Sports Report

October 1, 2016 by Salmon River Newbie Leave a Comment

Hi guys n Gals! Well it’s Oct 1 and the way it looks it’s going to be a long salmon season with all the reports of salmon still being out in the lake still to come in. Now we’re talking fish in the 40 to 70 plus ft of water still silver and the guys pounding them at night at the mouth of River trolling-out in front or sitting inside the rocks at night. If this is going to be one of those old time salmon seasons and we need rain and a better water flow which we need badly to bring the fish in to the upper end they already closed the fly stretch yesterday because of low water. And we need more water for the creeks to be up. To make it great fishing all around, but dropping the water to 185 is helping the upper end of the river and the big holes with elbow to elbow fishing . All the fish that came in the other day a large amount were cohos, they shot right up even Being low water, the got a better picture of you, then you think with this water being low and they will avoid you and you line. King kina different there bruisers and a bigger slower target. There coming just be patient. Today you probably seen more people in Pulaski then ever. The bottom end yesterday was good according to the big guys again seeing good #s of fish on the move. Hope today all the holes will have more fish coming up during the nigh and early this morning. Stay with it. Stop in All seasons Sports we have anything you may need , looking forward to seeing you All. And remember the Breakfast at the VFW in Pulaski 5am till 11am Sat n Sum. Support your Troops Thanks. Over n Out Bart
