On Monday we had cloudy conditions and the temperature reached into the 60’s. Last night we had a few scattered rain showers. The majority of anglers we spoke with yesterday who fished the lower end of the river reported that the most action was first thing in the morning with a mix of kings and cohos. Anglers staying in the motel who fished the DSR also reported that the best action was early in the morning. The deeper holes have been holding fish during the day with the most fish movement first thing in the morning and later in the day. Overall anglers who put in there time and are working hard have been getting into fish. The lower end of the river is getting the most fishing pressure on a daily basis, but the mid to upper end of the river is a good choice if your looking for some solitude.
