Sunday was a warm day with cloudy conditions and the temperature reached 70 degrees. We had a few scattered rain showers first thing in the morning and then again later in the afternoon. The anglers we have staying in the motel who fished the lower end of the river reported having another very good day. Anglers who fished the Black Hole, Staircase, Town Pool, Ballpark and Papermill got into mostly kings along with a few cohos. The anglers we spoke with who fished the DSR reported having a great day with a steady movement of kings along with a few cohos and steelhead mixed in. Kevin and I fished the mid section of the DSR in the afternoon and the fishing was excellent. The fish were moving, we had plenty of action and we each landed several kings. We also had good reports from anglers who fished the Upper Fly Zone with anglers landing a mix of kings and cohos.
