October 14 2015
Wednesday was a cold and very windy day with the temperature in the 50’s. With the windy conditions, leaves were a factor and anglers reported doing well on blue and cerise. The anglers we have staying in the motel who fished the DSR reported having a very good day with a steady mix of kings and steelhead. Anglers staying in the motel also reported having a good day in the Ballpark and Longbridge with a mix of kings and steelhead. In the mid to upper end of the river anglers are getting into fish in the Sportsman Pool, Trestle Pool, Bovines, Ellis Cove, Frazier’s Run, Wire Hole and below the Altmar bridge. Over the last couple of days anglers have been getting into a mix of kings and cohos in the Upper & Lower Fly Zone with egg patterns producing the best results.
