Monday was another hot and humid day with the temperature reaching into the mid 70’s. In the morning we had heavy cloud cover which helped keep the fish moving in the lower end of the river and in the afternoon we had sunny conditions. The fact that it was a week day was also helpful because you had far less anglers on the water. The majority of anglers we spoke with who had success fished the lower of the river. Anglers staying in the motel reported having a good day in the lower end of the river while fishing the DSR. They reported steady fish movement in the morning with multiple hook ups and several fish being landed.
