Tuesday was another hot and sunny day with the temperature reaching near 80 degrees. Despite the blue skies and plenty of sunshine it didn’t stop the fish from moving through the lower end of the river. Anglers we have staying in the motel who fished the DSR reported having another good day with multiple hook ups and several fish being landed. We also had reports from anglers getting into fish at the Ball Park, Town Pool, Staircase and Black Hole. In the afternoon I picked up my pass and fished the DSR for a few hours. I fished the mid section of the run while hooking and landing some fish. The fish that I saw moving through were going slow and mostly in singles, every now and then you would see 2 or 3. The few anglers that I did see were also hooking and landing fish.
